Leung and Jorge López-McKnight. Available here: https://bit.ly/crtinlis. Originally delivered as a 5-week workshop through the We Here Community School, June - July 2020. Sofia Leung and Jorge López-McKnight led our inaugural Community School event, the five-week course, or workshop, called “Just What is Critical Race Theory and What’s It Doing in LIS?” And being the generous humans that they are, they made their workshop compass (NOT syllabus 😜) public!

Sofia and Jorge are also editors for the forthcoming MIT Press book, Knowledge Justice: Disrupting Library and Information Studies through Critical Race Theory, which some of us from the We Here admin team and community have contributed to.

That’s one of the magical things about our Community School — we coordinate events as practitioners, learners, and people who make a contribution to our profession. ✊

Questions about the Compass? Let em know at crtinlis@gmail.com.

Huge thank you to Sofia and Jorge!
